Seller's notes: "Serial number is 503890 (see photo) which dates it to 1930. It is a UK keyboard, with a £-sign key. There are seven fraction characters (quarter, half, three-quarters and 1, 3, 5 and 7-eighths). The typewriter and case together weigh 6.1Kg."

Seller's notes: "There is a decal in Spanish which, translated to English, reads: "Sole importers: Arturo W. Boote & Co., Buenos Aires". Underwood Standard Portable Typewriter 4 Bank made 1927, Spanish edition, Green faux-bois (artificial wood) finish (which is, I believe, one of the rarest finishes) with integral carrying case."

Seller's notes: "A fantastic antique typewriter. The serial number 101366 indicate it was made in 1924. The white keys are mounted on brass and are in great condition. Fully working with a fresh ribbon. A rare and stunning machine and an early date."

Seller's notes: "Underwood Elliot Fisher c. 1936 Noiseless 77 Gloss Black Portable Typewriter serial number 807929. This seems to be complete and in its original case. It is, however, very dirty and will need a very good clean and service."

The typewriter is quite rare and has a history of selling for over £300."

Been advised not to clean as it’s not in my field best left to somebody that knows what they’re doing otherwise perfect prop for players TV filming et cetera."

Whilst in nice condition it’s not fully working as the carriage does not move along when the keys are pressed but is free to move when using the tab keys, so needs a bit of attention.
