It's fully operational, with all keys moving smoothly and freely. The feed rollers and platen are also in good working order. There are some age-related marks on it. Although I don't have the space to repaint it, I prefer the original paint as it adds to its historical charm. These marks tell the story of its journey over the years. The date of manufacture of this typewriter suggest that it may have been originally exported to Singapore, before finding its way back to the UK decades later."
