I never got around to fixing it as I already owned others. Sold as faulty parts or repair. Would make a great prop as the finish looks great or if repaired would be a great typewriter to use."

Seller's notes: "As pictured - large and very heavy Olympia SG3 typewriter. Long-term stored, is functional mechanically but may well need some servicing/cleaning/lubrication. Ribbon is probably well dried up now. USED item with bumps and scrapes and signs of wear. Collection preferred due to size/weight but will post. Great collectors piece or period prop, I'd imagine it hails from the early 1970s."

Seller's notes: "ROYAL Royalite 100 Portable Typewriter Grey, Leather Brown Carry Case Works Vintage. A very fine example, used tested and working. The space bar only appears to work once, then another key needs to be typed prior to the space bar working (once) again, if that makes sense. So no double spaces. I will try and take a look at this in the coming days when I get time and update this listing if resolved. Other than that, small marks on body, case has signs of wear, see pictures for a better idea."

Seller's notes: "Grey Hermes Baby Swiss Vintage Typewriter and case from 1938. This has been in a loft and made need some TLC but seems to work ok though the F key is stiff. We’re not typewriter experts though so sold as seen. Serial number suggests it is from 1938. In vintage condition and case is scuffed and metal parts of case a bit rusty. Collection from central Bedford"

The case zips ups and fastens with a popper, please note the last couple of pics in which i’ve highlighted the zip is worn - stop closes, just delicate. I am not a expert on using these typewriters but all the letters/ numbers are fully functioning except 3, O, F, G, Z, C - they get stuck on the ribbon, it may need a service to oil these letters or something 😃 The shift mechanism is inoperative.
